By accessing or using SteadAtlas products and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Services.

2. Products and Licenses

Reports generated by SteadAtlas are for informational purposes only. They are not professional surveys, appraisals, or environmental assessments. Data is sourced from public federal government databases and processed by our proprietary algorithms.

3. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are listed in USD. If we are unable to generate a report, or if the report fails to deliver within 24 hours of purchase, you will receive a full refund. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase to [email protected] with your order email and purchase date. For other situations, contact us and we will work with you.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our proprietary algorithms or scoring methodology
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services
• Misrepresent reports as professional assessments or certifications

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, scoring methodology, and materials on this site are the property of SteadAtlas. Reports you purchase may be shared with third parties (agents, lenders, etc.) but the underlying methodology remains our intellectual property.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Reports are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional assessments. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data from third-party government sources.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SteadAtlas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or reliance on information contained in our reports.

8. Free Tools

The Homestead Location Finder and Flood Zone Lookup are provided free of charge for informational purposes only. County-level data is aggregated from public federal databases and may not reflect current conditions at a specific property. State regulatory summaries are general informational summaries with statute citations — they are not legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. Verify all regulatory information with current state statutes and county records before making decisions. Data is updated periodically; check freshness timestamps for currency. These tools do not collect, store, or transmit your search queries. Our liability for free tools is limited to $0. We do not provide legal, financial, or real estate advice.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
